selling scams.
Please be aware that there are a number of unscrupulous
sites
claiming to offer assistance in the purchase and shipping of cars.
These companies may ask you to send money in advance
to
cover
the costs of shipping your car.
They may even send you a cheque to purchase your car, then
ask
you to forward the shipping costs back to them by Western Union.
This is a con. Beware.........
Never, ever, send money by Western Union unless you
know, for sure, the person you are sending money to.
Don't send any money or give
any personal details to
anyone until you've checked that they are genuine
Never deal with a company you cannot speak to by telephone.
Never send money in advance, especially by Western Union as your
funds can be cashed immediately and will be virtually untraceable.

Criminal gangs target car buyers
Beware of individuals or websites offering to sell you
a car below market price. These scammers advertise on all the
car trading websites and will ask you to send money before they
ship your car. They will tell you the car is with a shipping agent and
point you to a website they have simply copied and changed a few contact details
so you do not contact the real site owners.
Copying a website is a simple cut and paste job !
This is an increasing online fraud and has now been featured
